Storyline and Game play
A young, athletic physicist named Lester Knight Chaykin is the main character of this game. During a thunderstorm, Lester comes to his underground laboratory which has high- tech equipment in his magnificent Ferrari, and continues working on his experiment by using a particle accelerator.
Lightning strikes the laboratory before the particles arrive at their destination and due to this interference with the accelerator, the teleportation of young Lester takes place to an alien planet which is barren. Lester gets enslaved by humanoid aliens after facing many dangerous animals and he is imprisoned in an underground mine. Lester then attempts to escape, taking the help of an alien prisoner and continues evading capture while he travels through risky situations, battles with wild animals and solves a number of puzzles for surviving natural obstacles.
Lester is badly injured by one of the guards, but still saves his alien friend from certain death. This alien friend takes the wounded Lester with him and together they escape using a giant creature like pterodactyl and fly away to safety.
In the game play, the player has control over Lester with the help of the keyboard or a gamepad operating four directional buttons along with 1 or 2 action buttons to control the action, using the platform — single one for actions scenes and running, and another one for the jumping. The main action key does a range of actions, such as interacting and attacking depending on the player’s current position and movements.
As the game starts, initially Lester may only kick to defend or attack, but later he may also make use of a gun. This gun is used as a main weapon right throughout this game by both the actual player and also most of the enemies. There are three definite modes in the gun, which may be operated by keeping its fire button down thereby charging it. The very first mode is your usual laser beam which can vaporize flesh in an instant, leaves just the skeleton behind, which turns into ashes. The second mode however produces a protective shield against laser beams from the enemy. And lastly the 3rd mode generates a powerful explosion that can destroy certain walls and shields.
As a single hit can kill Lester and any enemies, the player has to utilize all 3 modes of the gun for taking cover during the game and to survive. The player possesses innumerable lives and he can take guidance from diagrams, sounds and gestures to survive in the game.
