Remember the days of retro DOS games? DOS games were indeed a funny affair. If you owned an 8-bit home computer in the good old days like a C64, Apple or Atari, you probably found it a difficult transition to go from all the sound and color to a computer minus the sound card and washed out pastel colors at its best. But, once you installed your EGA card, and then came the soundblaster! Next, you probably got a CD-ROM drive fitted to the computer and after spending a few hundred dollars, you would have owned a multi channel sound and sixteen color screen computer.

There were several retro DOS games on the video shelves back then. There were also numerous classics which were not really in the mainstream, quite as much as they are now. Some of the classic DOS games include Alley Cat and Sopwith.
